67 Orange has been on my list for two years. I heard so much about their specialty cocktails and I was excited to finally check it out. It is a super low key bar, often called a speakeasy. There is no signage in front, so you have to just go in and hope you are in the right place. (Okay, now that I look at the picture I can clearly see “67”)
It is a cozy set up. You can sit at the bar and there are some tables and comfortable booth type seating as well. I peeked downstairs and there is a small dining area as well.
We went on a Monday night and there was a good amount of people inside. Our server was hilarious, we really enjoyed him. I forgot his name but he looked like a “Ray.” I would describe the crowd as “gentrified.” Not sure if that’s the usual crowd but it seemed like it.
I ordered the Gin-Ger Beer and my date had a glass of Makers Mark. My drink was okay, I really wanted to try the Wild Hibiscus Royale but I was pressed for time. I ordered the 67 Burger (Grass Fed Ground Beef, Tomato, Lettuce, French Fries, Chipotle Aioli). It was so damn good! I was so hungry that I ate it before I could even think about taking a picture! I need to do better, I know. But trust me, it looked as good as it tasted.
We had a really good time but I will try a different night for the next time around.
67 Orange is great for catching up with friends or a quick date. Go and tell us what you think!
